Does the Eurail pass cover the trip from Luzern to Mt Rigi?

No. Only to the start of the cog railway (Arth-Goldau). The Swiss Pass would cover it though.

Thank you altamiro. We (family of 5 adults) will be staying in Luzern for 2 days, last week of December. We plan to go to Mt. Rigi or Mt Pilatus on the first day of our trip. Which would you suggest for that time of the year?

Hi mami032

I would go for Mt. Rigi - www.rigi.ch - as you can do the roundtrip. A roundtrip over Mt. Pilatus is not possible in winter for safety reasons (cogwheel train not working).

For more informaton look at the Top Questions about Lucerne (right side ofr your actual screen), www.luzern.com and www.lakelucerne.ch (for boat timetables etc).
