train from geneva airport to lausanne and other transportati

Please advice how much does it cost for a point to point train ride from Geneva Airport to Lausanne.

How can I get the Laussane city transport ticket if I am not staying at a hotel?

Thanks

All train information is available on SBB.Ch - including ticket prices.

If you are not staying at a hotel that gives you a transport ticket, then you need to buy a transport ticket (from the machines at any bus or train stop) like everyone else.

Good luck

There is also a mobile application of SBB for smartphone which is really great. I use it everyday, you can check the schedule but also buy tickets for trains but also for local public transport.

Here is the website

www.sbb.ch/en

Note that the "default" fare quoted is always the Half Fare Card fare and in second class. To get the one way full 2nd class fare, double it. Or click on the "Price/Buy" button to change the selection to First class, to get round trips etc. If you don't have a HFC then you need to choose "No reduction" from the drop down box.
