Zurich day pass

I along with my wife are arriving Zurich Airport on 21 Sep 2018 and stayin at Dubendorf. Same dat we intend to do sightseeing to Bahnhofstrasse, old town and back to Dubendorf at night. Next day(22 Sep) we are travelling to Zurich Hbf in the morning and returning to Dubendorf at night. On 23 Sep we are travelling to Zurich airport to catch flight to Venice. How many zones are we travelling in these 48 Hours? Is there any travel card for this itinery? How much would it cost?

Check zone maps for instance at https:/…zone-maps.html

Zurich airport and Dübendorf are in zone 121 - downtown Zurich in zone 110 that counts for 2 zones. So you will need a 3 zone ticket - as two one way ticket cost as much as a 24-h pass (24-h, not a calendar day) best is to buy that 24-h pass. At ticket machine (airport (?)) simply enter from your location to for instance Zürich HB (main railway station) and you will get the ticket or pass for zones 121 and 110. See also https:/…zones.html

Prices for instance at https:/…daypass.html

Depending on what time you start your trip at ZRH and when you leave you might need a "local network" ticket the third day for Dübendorf to the airport.

Consider using ZVV or SBB smartphone application - on smartphones with GPS the application will show you the (usually fastest) way to a destination.
