Bus 247 + tram 17

Hello. How are you all? You really helped a lot at planning out trip to amsterdam. A few more questions:

1) how long does it take to get with bus 247 from Schiphol to Cornelis Lelylaan bus stop?

2) Is the Cornelis Lelylaan bus stop close to the tram stop?

3) how long does it take to get with tram 17 from Lelylaan to Ten Katastraat?

4) those 2 routes (bus247 and tram 17) are covered by gvb, right?

Thank you so much for your help

Oops yes that's another GVB line attending to Schiphol. But here I am less certain that it's really covered by GVB pass as it's a Sternet joint-venture with Connexxion.

The site we gave you, www.9292.nl/en, gives the full timings and location of bus stops. Hence use it and you get the answers ;-)

All the best,

Well seems it's not Sternet but still appears on both GVB and Connexxion sites. But it's a NIGHT bus only hence will only run when tram does not run at all. Just stick to bus 69, as 9292.nl site will also tell...

Since you're seeing a night bus, when you're planning with 9292.nl or Google Maps, be sure that you're specifying a daytime departure. Those apps will default to using the current time as the departure time. All your other questions are answered by those apps.

Yes but still find it miraculous that OP found a combination of nightbus and tram, as these in terms of operating times do hardly or not coexist at all ;-)

FGS the 247 is a bus that only runs 3 times per day and it only runs in one direction TO Schiphol. These are special bus routes that are designed for people who work on early shifts at Schiphol. the 246 is the same.

You can't use this bus to nickel and dime your way to Amsterdam.

If you really are this poor then you can't in all honesty afford to visit Amsterdam.
