Twin beds

A friend and I are visiting Amsterdam in September and would like to find a good, clean,

B and B room with twin beds. Can anyone help? I have looked at heaps and they all seem to offer double or queen beds. At this stage we don't mind which area. We are in our 60s and don't fancy sharing a bed.

1. Re: Twin beds

You will need to enquire with the places concerned... but you will probably find that the "doubles" have separate mattresses and separate duvets - this is fairly common in Mainland Europe. I have stayed in places in the Netherlands where "double" meant one mattress and one duvet, just like in the UK or North America, but more often than not there have been separate mattresses and duvets.
