Bidding on a 5 star in the centrum

Traveling around the forums the most recent 5's being posted for winning bids......the Kras.

July 20-22 $75-Kras

Sept 3-6 $75-Kras

You might be able to get them a little bit cheaper. I would at least try.

Next week it might be some other 5 star in play.

Got Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel for $100 pn Aug 12-14.

Now I've realised that's probably the Express Deal at the moment for $105 - I probably should have started bidding much lower!!

Hope I don't regret it!

Regret? :-))

You have an excellent well reviewed Amsterdam 5 star for $100 plus small tax in August.

If you started at $100 likely you could have saved a dollar or three.

You're right, that's a much better deal than what I was being offered when bidding a few weeks ago (I was up to $110 and still nothing)!

I'm a typical woman - always wondering if I could have got it cheaper ;)

What have anyone been getting lately?

I am bidding area 2 & 3 (Central Canals Area and City Centre)

5*

I am up to £67 (Approx $108) / night for weekend (Fri-Sun) in November. (Started at £50) and still no luck..

Have anyone got any recent successful bids?

might have to bump it up a bit, but remember a 5 star at $150-175 U.S. is still a good deal, if you win the bid

We don't see all that much traffic on 5s like we do for 4s.

Your call but if it were me, and it's not, I'd always bid for 4s and 5s in those two central zones.

There being no 4s I'd want to avoid. I see so little difference between the typical 4 and the typical 5 star winners.

And it at least doubles your chances of getting a successful low $$ win.

Again it's your call but maybe something to consider ?
