Not my idea of a good air sale----but it is what it is

travelzoo.com/airfare/…

I have enjoyed some great deals or value stays over the past 20 years or so as far as Amsterdam.

$30 a night at the Brouwer (one of their small single rooms)

$256 (inc tax) for a non-stop BWI-AMS R/T

But the prices I see now for hotel and air makes me blanch.

The Brouwer is now 60 euros plus tax not $30 inc tax for that small single room.

And $823 R/T is now a "good" deal in the off-season.

Maybe this link can save someone a few bucks

Good Luck

mmm...$821 houston-ams..not bad..but you really have to be flexible on your travel dates..they black out lots of days during the month. for instance this fare good "through" april..but only 1 day in april eligible for this fare. and that was april 1

Americans should consider themselves lucky that they can get to AMS so cheaply!

My last ticket this year cost US $5443 / Euro 4050.00

However, i admit i always fly business class on longhaul flights.

Definately all relative as usa to netherlands flights are cheap in comparison:)

Mr John,

I remember finding $300 R/T tickets from BWI/IAD to AMS back in the year 2000 +/-. We never ended up going back then, as we were on a limited budget in our days at College Park. I finally got to go in 2008 and I absolutely loved it. I just ran a search for 4/25-5/3 +/- 3 days, and the non stops are $1215, up $400 from 3 weeks ago. So sad.
