Hi,

We are a group of 4 (79, 44, 26 & 24), we are going to Western Europe for 14days in Oct 2013, and the first stop is Amsterdam.

We will reach Schiphol airport at 9am, 14th Oct(Mon). We will take a train to Centraal Station, and change to a taxi to Hotel Orlando. After check in, we will have a simple lunch in nearby area, and go back to hotel for rest after the 15hrs flights. The next morning after the hotel breakfast, says 9:30am, we are heading to canal cruise and after that go for Reypenaer Cheese Tasting Room by tram. The next day, Prinsengracht, and the 9 street after that. The forth day, Jordaan by tram. The fifth day morning will go to Brussels by NS Hispeed, E$25, is this the cheapest way to go to Brussels? Is the above arranggement sound OK? Please comment, we are interested in scenery, cafe, window shopping but not museum.

Thanks.

Taking the taxi with the 79 yr old should be best after the long journey. About 10 euros.

Yes, get the 72 hours card for best value.

i like your itinarary, lots of wandering around, the best way to enjoy Amsterdam.

NS Hispeed is the site, using the Fyra for 25 euro is the cheapest and fastest way (two hours) to Brussel.Reserve at least one week before, only half of the tickets will be sold that cheap.

Thanks BL_Henkie,

You mean from airport to Centraal Station is only 10 euros?

Any idea whether the Fyra go to Zurich from Brussel?

How about Copenhagen, what is the cheapest way to go? Not very sure whether should we go north or south after Amsterdam/Brusell!!!

Thanks

I think he means 10 euro each. Not total price.

Sorry, i meant 10 euro from central station to your hotel. Plus 4 euro each for the train. If you take a taxi directly from Schiphol it wil be 50 euro to your hotel.

Brussel to Zurich will take about 8 hours traveling wether it's by train

or flying

cheapest fares for both around 115 euro
