It's Utrecht not Utarecht or Utarecthum or whatever.

Travel pass for what? The Amsterdam card is for Amsterdam and the GVB pas with it for Amsterdam only. there are no train passes you will have to buy tickets for this.

First of all, you're planning to much events in one day. It's not even the events itselves, but the traveling.

Following your itinerary, buy paper tickets to Rotterdam (around 9 euro per person, the kids 2,50 each, see www.ns.nl) for the Euromast, then buy tickets to Amsterdam (around 14 euro, again the kids 2.50 each) You can hop off half way at The Hague to visit Madurodam, then use same tickets to continue to Amsterdam for you nighly canal cruise.

Or you might change plans and viste the Zaanse Schans near Amsterdam for the windmills. There is a special ticket available for traveling to the ZS, Volendam and inside Amsterdam for around 14 euros.

Again, no special railway pass for the Netherlands, just buy paper tickets. And you might want to review your itinerary, too much traveling around for one day.

Please note that unless you have to be in Amsterdam before going to Rotterdam you are better off taking the intercity train Utrecht-Rotterdam. There is one every 15 minutes and journey time is 40 minutes. Will save you loads of time on your otherwise very packed day

That is not the regular price for a day card, was this a promotion? I'm not aware of any that are currently running.

Sorry its EUR 47.

ns.nl/en/…ticket-and-pass-types

No Promotions....

We think of this Card as No tensions for Individual Tickets at Stations and also for busses and trams...

I do understand that taking seperate tickets wud help in saving cost..... but with kids we thought of doing some maths to understand the working of day travel card.

Reading Reply at Post # 2 by BL_Henkie it gives a better idea of various tickets.

We intend to cover this fashion:

Store Luggage at Amsterdam with Large Locker for 24 Hrs. Take up bag Packs and move on.

--- as we store at say 9.00 am we can pick it up next day morning befor 9.00 am --- Correct?

1) Cover Zuiderzee Museum + Ride on the Dyke

2) Than do Madurodam (The Den Haag)

3) Rotterdam - Windmills at Kinderdijk (Zuidplein)

4) Splash Tour (At 17.30) & Euromast (At 19.00)

5) Canal Cruize at (21.00)

Than to Home for sleep full of dreams.

Plz guide best Transportation for the above.

The NS Day Pass does not cover you on trams just trains. And with your plans its just not worth it.

Yes as long as you pick up your bags before 9 am they will not charge you for a second day. Are you staying in a hotel for the single night in Amsterdam, if so why not take your bags there for them to keep. You can use http://9292.nl/en to plan door to door direction across the country. But as said earlier you are trying to fit too much in a short amount of time.

Hello,

If we pay additional EUR 5,50 than it cover public transport card too.. right?

We have booked Thalys from Amsterdam Centraal at 9.19 to Paris.

So we will definately reach Station by 8.30 am after quick breakfast.

We have booked a B&B at Lomanstraat 112.

Plz guide on economical travel card.

We just have a day so wud cover the max of AMS.

Why would you even consider a canal cruise at 21:00 with a 4 yr old??? This is not fair to the child.
