Good Local Restaurants - The Nine Streets Area

Me and the wife are renting an apartment for 10 days in November and are looking for some good choices for both really nice dinners and also local cheap eats. We'll have a full kitchen and love to cook, but would like to go out a few times. I'm sure we'll hit the 'big ones' in the city but would like some close choices.

Thanks in advance.

So many choices it's hard to make recommendations. Here's my Where to Eat Cheatsheet if you're interested:

Oh dear, this is a cheatsheet:-))? Sorry, but I think it´s too hot for my brain today, a senior moment! I thought that it would be any kind of strange food, lol.

Not really a restaurant, more of a Brown Pub (Cafe) with good food:

This is a Brown Pub that is more like a restaurant:

Typical Dutch food:

A few blocks further away, this is one of my favorites. Typical Dutch food and very different than you would think is is being in a tourist area (reservations recommended):

Thanks everyone.

We'll also chat will some locals too (no offense local experts on the board). We love meeting folks on vacation. Sometimes the best food comes from places that look scary and you need assurance to get by the 'look'. Best lobster i've ever had or seen came from a shack in St. Kitts. literally a shack, but put to shame 5 star places we've been and for no $$$!
