Eurail Pass Benelux/Germany usage in Netherlands

Going to Amsterdam in September and our 6 day Eurail Pass is a paper ticket that will require validating once we get to Amsterdam. Will this be problematic when travelling in the Netherlands. I contacted Eurail and they knew nothing about this change of chip card tickets..

Should be no problem. Validating still happens at the counters. _If_ the Eurail pass itself does not have some kind of QR/barcode making it machine readable at the station barriers that close, then I presume the counters upon validating will give you some kind of extra paper that is machine readable. But keep us informed on the outcome here!

All the best,
