Hello Australia!

There is NOT YET a Tintin museum. But there is the "Centre Belge de la Bande Dessinee" (Cartoon centre): http://www.cbbd.be/

I hope this helps...

Many thanks for the website info. It's not very helpful, but at least I have an address and opening hours... which is a good start.

I'm sure it's just a matter of time before Herge has his own museum!

My wife and I visited the Centre Belge de la Bande Dessinee a week or so ago....it's not too bad.

The details are written in French, however, they do provide an English guidebook/photocopies.

The displays are quite good, especially, I'd have thought, if you were into cartoons/comics.

Tintin material, plenty to purchase...a little in the museum.

The lady at reception even knew who Peter Garrett was and spoke good English, so there you go.

7.50 euro I think.

Hi there,

Back from Xmas holidays just read your message.

I didn't want to post any jugments on the Cartoon Centre before your visit. I personally think it needs more media interaction, live interviews, etc.. In the whole a more modern concept of displaying the items. But I find the building quite amazing...

I hope you enjoyed your visit and wish you a Happy New Year.
