"Best" depends on where in Brussels you are staying, which would determine which of 3 possible stations you can most easily get to. See tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g188644-i205-k6859…

The station is called Brugge (the local name for Bruges as it is in the Dutch-speaking area of Belgium).

The Station is about 20 minutes walk from the historic centre, or you can take a bus from outside the station to Markt - any bus marked 'Centrum' will take you there. A single journey ticket is €1.35 from the roadside machine or the De Lijn office, €2.00 if bought from the bus driver.

Hi... looking at the map of Brussels, seems like your closest train station is Centraal - there are 3 train stations in Brussels!

Brugge has only one station and it's a pleasant and picturesque walk into the city center, especially if you go thru the park along the stream. Once out of the station cross the busy traffic street, over the stream and bear right... have fun!

Meininger City Centre hotel is in fact probably slightly closer to Bruxelles-Midi than Bruxelles-Central, and definitely closer to the Porte de Flandre tram stop, just on the other (city) side of the canal from the hotel, for 51 tram to Gare du Midi, than to the Comte de Flandre metro station, for metro lines 1/5 to Gare centrale. On arrrival at Gare centrale, you also have to walk between the metro station of that name and the railway station, where the connecting corridor and side entrance to Gare centrale are currently under renovation/ reconstruction.

Looking at the map on your hotel's website www.meininger-hotels.com/en/hotels/brussels/ the red M is the hotel, the blue square "bus/tram" symbols next to the bridge indicate the Porte de Flandre tram stop, and moving the map downwards, the blue M sign marks the Comte de Flandre metro station.
