mobility scooter hire

can anyone help me with this, we have ben to bruges 3 times now and have raved about it so much my parents would love to visit, mum has real problems walking for more than a few minutes and the cobbles would be dangerous for her so i would like to hire a mobility scooter in bruges for a weekend. any suggestions would be really useful.

Do not have any info about hire in Bruge but have you considered hiring in the UK ? Most mobility shops have an hire scheme for Wheelchairs and Scooters and you should be able to hire one for your trip !

Its worth visiting Shop Mobility web site , full of useful info and links to scooter hire !

Since my o/h got her scooter it has made trips both home and away so much more enjoyable !

If we can help with any queries you may have please pm us !

One thing to bear in mind is that scooters have really tumbled down in price so may be worth buying Mum one instead of the hire !

I don't know of any short-term hire places, it might be better to bring a folding wheelchair or hire that from a paramedical supplies store (a pharmacy will be able to tall you where to go). This site rents them by the month, but you can't use 8000 numbers from outside Belgium: http://www.scootmobiel.be/c38.html
