Moules Frites

Hi Everyone

I am going to Bruges next Friday for a last minute trip and I have booked Ribs & Beer for the Friday night but I am looking to book somewhere for the Saturday night. I really want to have Moules Frites somewhere nice. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can have nice Moules Frites in a nice restaurant?

Much obliged for your replies!

Louise.

Hi

Moules Frites are widely available and will cost in the region of €20 - €25 as a main course.

Ones to consider are:

De Mosselkelder on Huidenvettersplein

Poules Moules on Simon Stevinplein

Bit more expensive

Den Gouden Karpel also on Huidenvettersplein

Mattjak - what sort of budget are you looking at?

There is a huge range of restaurants in all price ranges.

Have a look at this website, put the post code 8000 in the Place field and search. This will give you restaurants in Bruges.

Hi, similar question but with a twist. Due to work commitments !!!! I will not hit Coquelles until around 7pm, which is a bit risky to get to Bruges for my favourite Moules Frites. So, anywhere on the way, say Dunkerque, will do. I want the usual experience of Moules Frites and Big Beer. Ah, happiness......

Hello!

Thanks for your reply, I had no email notifications about them so would have replied sooner. We are off there tomorrow and looking for a quite high end place to eat on the Saturday that do Moules Frites. Which one of those restaurants is the most high end would you say?

Thanks

Louise

Den Gouden Karpel is the most high end of those listed above.

It is best to reserve, they get busy. You can walk in at lunchtime and reserve.

They have a menu outside so you can get an idea of what they have.

After long research this is the one we may go for in the evening of our stay. Have to say the reviews for Poules Moules look good too. So maybe sorted for a lunch and dinner!
