it's all a question of what is most convenient for you , personally we get them here in the UK, but let our bank know we MAY use cash machines in the holiday destination, just in case we need some extra spends

I usually get euros by using my debit card in ATMs once I am in the eurozone. If you need some euros to start you off when you arrive, get them in the UK - shop around for the best rate, look at banks, the Post Office or Marks and Spencers.

We use the ATM`s in Bruges , which give Bank Rate exchange and not the " Tourist " ( Rip Off ! ) rate

Even with the fee you are better off on your exchange !

Enjoy Your Visit :)
