Can anyone tell me if you are allowed to take food into Portugal; tea / coffee / dried soups / noodles etc? I know you can probably buy these items there, but just wondered as I have fussy travellers!

Yes we do have shops and you can buy these things but if you insist, they can go in your hold baggage no problem. We all do this with jars of Branston pickle and mega-tins of Sainsbury's Gold Roast coffee etc on returns from UK, not because we cannot buy them here but because of the cost savings!

Weigh your bags though, as if you are flying with meanie airlines you will either have just enough bagagge allowance for clothes or food but not both.
