Camino in late July - too hot?

Hi there,

I'm planning to walk from Tui to Santiago and was wondering if it's just not a good time to consider due to the heat. I'm currently in Andalucia and find the days to be extremely hot, and many times unbearable with the sun and lack of breeze.

Thanks for the advice!

Galicia is no where near as hot as Andalucia. However, temperatures may well reach 30ºC or more, but usually it not so dry and there is usually a maritime breeze. You should be fine if you walk in the morning and late afternoon.
