Be aware that there is no direct connection between Portugal and Morocco except by air. You can go the long and slow way round by bus into Seville, Spain, then another bus or train to Tarifa or Algeciras and then by ferry across to Morocco, but that would be a whole day spent travelling.

Faro is not a holiday or beach resort and can easily be missed out if time becomes a problem. The Algarve is the main sun and beach resort region Portugal so you will need to priortise on which places to visit. In terms of getting to Morocco by air you need to be in Lisbon.

In addition to the websites mentioned above, Portugal also has a comprehensive network of long-distance buses which in some cases are the only way to travel between certain cities and in others offer connections that are slightly cheaper than trains, often more frequent and not much slower.

www.rede-expressos.pt is the website but you will need your dictionary with you if you can't read Portuguese as, even on the English pages, the details of which buses run when are only given in Portuguese.
