Clothing in February

My husband and I are going to Lagos on Feb 1 for 3 weeks. This is our first visit to Portugal. Can you please advise me of the type of clothing we need to bring for this time of year.

The weather this winter has been colder than usual but it is still much warmer than the UK and other regions and certainly nothing like Canadian weather. The Algarve is a mixed bag, so bring layers; T-shirts, jumpers and a waterproof jacket.

We will be there on the 5th feb as we have been for the past 14 years. As has been said take layers it can be very warm in the middle of the day and very cold at night ,so sometimes shorts and short sleeve shirts, sometimes sweaters and jeans and def a water proof jacket you can get very heavy downpours

Hi,

These sites should help:

Check out this site. In the middle of the page (History & Almanac) you can put in any date from 1996 and it will give you the weather on that given day/week/month

http://www.wunderground.com

Weather2Travel.com is also good & can tell you humidity, hrs of sunshine etc

Regards
