Beach cafes

We will be in Quinta do lago from 10th to 24th feb.

We will have a car, Are there any beach cafes open at this time of year.?

We use to go to one at SAN REAFEAL?out side of Alberfria.

My Hubby and I have been coming to the Algarve for 18 years and had a map of all the beach cafes that we loved,But alot are closed now at this time of year. Hopeing to start a new one.

Any info will be a great help.

Thank you to any one that can help.

Not much open in wintertime. Here's a link for a QdL blog, they may be able to give you up to date info.

Generally the beach cafes don't open till Easter. Some offer a reduced service out of season. I know the one on Sao Rafael beach opens a kiosk serving beers etc but I don't know if it opens as early as Feb.

Duck pot, if you staying in Quinta do lago Izzys beach Bar and restaurant is open all year round. It's down on Julia's Beach in between QDLAGO and VDLobo. There are a few more on the same beach area not too sure if they will also be open. Quarteria promenade will be busy around 11/12th Feb when they have the carnival parade. Not sure on exact date. Hope this helps you.

The beach restaurant at Galé seems to open all year round but the others round here are most definitely closed.
