It's it worth visiting the Algarve while in Lisbon when time is a constrain?, thank you very much.
The Algarve is 3 - 4 hours trip from Lisbon depending on final destination and means of transport you choose.
It's certainly not worth a day trip.
At what time of year do you plan to be in Lisbon and what might you think you can see here down here in the Algarve that Lisbon cannot offer?
The Algarve, as you possibly know, is a major holiday destination for people from the UK and Northern Europe, also Portuguese and Spanish.
We have beaches, golf courses and many large seaside resorts.
There's so much to see in and around Lisbon, I wouldn't come down to see the Algarve.
Use your time to see Sintra!
We regularly go the the Algarve but a couple of years ago started in Lisbon . We had 5 days there and found we filled them all with things to do . I personally would just enjoy lisbon .
I agree with all the other advice. The Algarve is a place to go and relax - not somewhere you go to for a few hours to see the sights.
