No. Air traffic control still have strike notices out for a 2 hour strike 7am to 9am local time on several dates, 13th included. There's nothing anyone can do other than check with airlines nearer the day.

If travelling with Ryanair you may experience no delay at all on these strike day. There was a national strike about 2 years ago on the day I was due to fly from Dublin to Faro with Ryanair. Aer Lingus cancelled all their flights that day but Ryanair operated. When we were over France I recall some passengers wondering if we would be landing in Seville but we actually landed in Faro. There was no staff at passport control so we walked straight through. Taxi and car hire companies were operating as normal outside

It is not passport control that are going on strike, it is AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL.

OK so if your flight is at 1215 you may not have a problem unless of course the plane is due to go to Faro at 6am and then come back for you. If it cannot take off at 6am it might be delayed later.

Last week French air traffic control went on strike and before that it was the Spanish. All of that affects flights to Portugal.

There are many problems in this part of the world.

Have a nice dayl

We have to get up at 3am to travel to Stansted.

So we will be tired, just hope there are no delays.
