The Brisa Sol, Paraiso de Albufeira, & Vila Gale Cerro Alagoa all have indoor pools. The Brisa Sol & Vila Gale Cerro Alagoa are situated next door to each other , near the approach to the old town, plenty bars, cafes, shops around. The Paraiso De Albufeira is inbetween the new & old town, again with lots of bars cafes etc in the vicinity.

I find June & September are nice months for weather, not too hot and not too crowded.

If you look up Booking.Com you will find most hotels in the Algarve they show you pictures of each hotel with evertyhing it has to offer it also has a map with the location of each hotel with prices for the dates you choose.

When you see a hotel you like come back on to Trip Advisor and look up all the reviews of that hotel plus T/A peoples photos not the posed ones for magazines then make your choice.

casmana,

Although we like Forte do Vale the best we have also enjoyed staying at Paraiso Albufeira and liked the location. Everything on the doorstep, bars/restaurants, shops etc. A courtesy bus runs from Paraiso into the Old Town and back but doesnt run in the evenings. Its a nice stroll into the Old Town (downhill) and a taxi back only costs around 4 euros.

Our idea of pleasantly warm is 26 C, the average temperatures in June and September.

You will enjoy either time of year. In September wait until the third week when the schools (Portuguese and British) have gone back, families back to work and the couples and singles take over.
