Requesting an extra cot

Hi just wondering is it possible to request an extra cot when booking a hotel room or apartment? Most places seem to all say 1 cot free for under 2yrs but we are travelling with a 2yr old and a 5month old in August and will need two cots in our room. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks

I'd contact hotel or apt and ask - can be quicker to phone than email.

I would say it also depends on the safety aspect of how many the hotel room is allowed to cater for as to whether they would allow 2 cots. As Pete says best emailing or phoning the hotel/apartmenta you are going to book with..

You can also hire travel cots from various agencies but they are around 30€ per week inc bedding, plus delivery . Ordinary wooden cots are more expensive to hire.

Here are two agencies with prices: www.tinas-holidayextras.com/index.php…

I'd contact hotel directly as I'm sure it's something they will have dealt with before
