Halal Food and Mosques in Faro, Portugal

There were only 2 muslim (halal) shops in Faro. I managed to find them by accident because I happen to see a "souvenir" shop run by a Moroccan family. Luckily the shop was dead centre in the middle of the city in front of the Marina (See map). The locations of the mosque (mussallah) and other shops are shown on the map also - It's a very small town, so you can walk to any of these places easily. The download links for the map and photos are:

Thank you ever so much. It is usually a lot more complicated finding Halal food/mosque details before you travel.

I Stayed in alvor Portugal and found two Indian takeaways run by Muslims, not all food is Halal but they can sometimes get Halal food. If you decide to eat their then ask the owner for Halal food as most is not Halal. The outlets are called Kashmir hut which is on Rua Afonsa Costa,43 Alvor tel: 282492288
