Family Travel in Lisbon - which is the safest area to stay?

Hi, I will be traveling in Lisbon with my young son for a few days in April.

Which area would you recommend? Or any hotel recommendations? Priority would be safety & accessibility…

The Avenida da Liberdade is a nice area to stay. It has plenty of restaurants and you can walk into the city. You could have a look at the Heritage hotels.
