Which is the safe and convenient area to stay in Lisbon?

Hi

I understand that the airport bus will alight at certain stops such as as Entrecampos, Campo Pequeno, Avenida da Republica, Saldanha, Picoas, Fontes Pereira Melo, Marquês de Pombal, Avenida da Libertade, Restauradores, Rossio, Praça do Comercio and Cais do Sodré.

I will like to know which area should i book my stay without walking too far to search for my hotel after alighting from one of the stops.

Pls advise which district in Lisbon is safe and convenient for tourists to travel around at ease?

thanks for your valuable advise!

The stops from Saldanha onwards are close to many hotels, particularly those at Avenida da Liberdade and Restauradores. All three areas are very busy day and night and safe. They are also close to metro stations and many city buses for access to all parts of the city.

Take a look at the on line map of Lisbon here https://goo.gl/maps/wdgwo which shows just how many hotels there are along and near the Avenida and Marquês Pombal areas.

Also Entrecampos and Campo Pequeno stops serve hotels located there, that why the bus does that route. Any hotel close to a metro station is convenient to travel around, but the classical areas are Avenida Liberdade and Rossio/Chiado.
