hello. I would like to ride the Santa Justa elevator, but have heard there can be long lines. I was wondering if right now there is any time that's better than another - early when it opens? evening (although I'd love to take pictures, and can't do that at night)? Unfortunately, I'll be there over the weekend, which might be worse than usual. Is there a way to predict how long I might wait by how long the line is? Also, I'll be there on the Feast of Assumption. Is that a major holiday that might affect how many people are out and about that day? I know the elevadors have slightly curtailed hours (but not by much!) but other than that, is it likely much else will be affected by the holiday? One more question: To enter the elevator, where do you go? I know roughly where it is, but where is the actual entrance? I will have a 24 hour Carris ticket. Am I right in thinking that the Santa Justa elevator is covered by that? I know the elevadors are.
Thanks & obrigada!
