Lisbon via train to Quinta da Regaleira

Has anyone taken this route? Apparently you leave from the Metro Rossio Train Station. Looking on the train route > there are several stops in Sintra > which one would be within closest walking distance to Quinta da Regaleira.

Also, does anyone know how far the Rossio Train Station is from the HF Fenix Urban Hotel ?

The last station, Sintra, is nearest. It's a bit of an uphill walk of about 2.4km. There is a little bus from the station every 15 minutes that does the rounds of the tourist venues and stops outside.

The HF Fenix is about 1.5km from Rossio station ie 15 minutes walk or there are buses or metro to Restauradores station, which is joined to Rossio railway station.

Rossio train station is not the same as Rossio metro station, in fact (as said above) the closest metro station to Rossio train station is Restauradores. If you don't want to walk down Av. Liberdade to the train station take the metro at Marques de Pombal and exit at Restauradores (blue line) metrolisboa.pt/eng/…

Take the train to Sintra at Rossio and exit at the terminal station (Sintra), if you don't want to walk till Regaleira (it's the "flattest" walk in Sintra, all the others are much much uphill) take the bus #435, it will go by Regaleira.
