TAP Pilots Strikes Update!!

very good news. hope more unions take note....

We all have our grievances re financial problems but in my view, few strikes achieve anything and the majority of people who are affected can do nothing to further the cause. Hope everything works as normal, sure we will have regular updates to report.

TAP announced late Tuesday the minimum services it will guarantee during the pilots’ strike taking place between 5 and 8 July

TAP advises its passengers with flights booked for the strike days to contact the Company Contact Centre or their Travel Agent to amend the dates of their travel according to the available flights”, the airline announced on its website.

Hope all goes well. We suffered the effects last we of the strike that never happened. Sata really did not do well by us but at least we made it to Madeira. 2 days late but we made it.

you are right the update on the TAP page was old! ..It now reads

"The Pilots Union Strike, which was called between the 5th and the 8th of July and the 1st and the 5th of August, has been called off..."

Following the calling off of the strike, TAP's operation will be back to normal..."
