Gyms in hotels

Anyone have information about the gymnastics in the Jardins do Largo and Cliff Bay facilities? Sometimes gyms are in reality one running machine in a dingy room!

Not expecting the full works, but would like to know what they have before we make a booking.

Have you checked the websites, Jardin de Largo has no mention of a gym

www.jardinsdolago.com/en/facilities

Cliff Bay Hotel website shows a photo of the gym.

Actually Flowercity, from the link you provided for Jardins do Lago under "Leisure" it does say. "Heated large freshwater swimming pool; Sun terraces with sun beds, umbrellas and towels; Well equipped Gym; Sauna; Turkish Bath; Jacuzzi; Croquet and Table Tennis" ......and it shows a few photos of the gym under "Fitness Centre".

The gym in the Cliff Bay is not huge but it doesn't get used that much so you should be fine. We used it three days running for about an hour each time and we were the only ones in there.

The Casino Park has a gym looking out over the swimming pool and harbour which might mitigate the relentless boredom of such activities. There is one at the Cliff Bay although it is a room along from the pool without a view.

True, the Cliff Bay gym doesn't have a great view. If I recall correctly it's just of a bit of the garden.
