Caminho Português de Santiago: Weather in mid October

Hi Everyone,

I plan to walk 6 day on the Caminho Português de Santiago route from Tui (Pontevedra) in mid October. My concern is the amount of rain I can experience during this walk.

Is it raining almost every day in mid October ?

My another option (less desirable) is to do that in mid September. Is mid September predictably less rainy than mid October?

Thanks.

Yes September is less rainy than October, usually. But somewhat hotter.

I wouldn't say it rains every day in October, but you just know it will fall on you. I am in that area in November from time to time and it certainly rains then!
