Glories of Greece Insight Tour

We will be taking the Glories of Greece Insight tour in June - has anyone been on this tour and give me any feedback? I was thinking 50 - 70 Euros extra per day each should cover any optional extras not included - would this be enough??

Thanks

Hi,

I just returned from this tour - I was there mid-end of May 2012. I enjoyed this tour. Joy (Hara - her Greek name) was our tour director - very knowledgeable. As you can probably tell, this tour covers lots of historical sites and museums, as well as some picturesque locales - amazing and beautiful country. The hotels overall were nice. As for money, depending on your spending habits, yes, that should be ok. You could always bring along your ATM card or a Travelex debit card and then get more Euros as needed. When I went, there was only one optional excursion for this tour (about $50). As for the Greek economic woes, we didn't encounter any travel problems. Greece depends on tourism and they welcome travelers!

Enjoy!
