Help - Non Touristy Location for Holiday

Hi there,

We are wanting to go on holiday to Greece for about 1 week at either the end of June or in September and need some help and recommendations. We would like somewhere which is beautiful, peaceful, with good local food, not too touristy, somewhere to relax, enjoy the sun, food and surroundings. We would be coming from the UK and staying for between 7 and 10 nights. Which places should would you recommend - anywhere you have been which you feel is a Greek paradise but not too touristy?

Someone mentioned Folegrandos? Would that match what I am looking for?

Thanks a lot.

Folegandros is a nice island, very popular by tourists. The nearby Sikinos is also beautiful, but visited by very few tourists. The least touristic islands is often also the least accesible (not daily ferries). As a "mid-between" I could recommend Sifnos.

You could also look at Tinos, a very "Greek" island in my eyes.

I go along with MG100surrey's idea of Lendas on Crete.
