Airport to Omonoia

If we catch the metro from the Airport to Omonoia do we have to change trains and if so if there are stairs between the trains are the lifts (for luggage) available.

What would the fare be from the airport.

You will have to change trains at Syntagma. There are lifts and escalators, it's pretty straight-forward. Can't remember what the fare is exactly, I think it's 6€ for 1 person, 10€ for 2. You may want to do a search on the forum for more details.

Hey shezzac:-) It's one train change..but you do have 2 alternates! The Blue Line from the airport will bring you to both Syntagma Saquare and Monasteraki! If you get off at Syntagma, you need to hop on the Red Line (direction of Aghios Antonios) for 2 quick stops over to Omonia! If you stay on the Blue Line for 1 more stop past Syntagma, it'll leave you at Monasteraki where you can take the Green Line for only 1 stop over to Omonia! I'd personally opt for the Syntagma metro stop to make the change! Unless they've changed it..it's as stated, 6E for 1 pax and 10E for 2! Have fun..and EnjoY!

We're just back from Athens and as said above its 10 euros for 2 (you just get one ticket that covers you both).
