Athens to Rome

What is the best way to get from Athens to Rome?

Should we take a plane, ferry or other?

Idealy we'd love to cruise but we don't have alot of time. Is there an overnight cruise?

Can't comment on the possibility of a cruise, but it's very easy by plane.

For flight look up this map for options:

www.aia.gr/flight_schedule/european_en.htm

Click on Rome, and you will find the airlines and their schedules.

Fly.

There is no overnight cruise from Athens to Rome.

You have to go to Patras from Athens get the ferry from there to Angona and cross the Italian peninsula to Rome.

I bet is a lot cheaper flying than just the ferry ride alone would be,especially if getting a cabin for the night.
