Mondays in Athens

Hi all,

We will spend a monady day in Athens,

I see many attractions that closed in mondays like acropolis Museum , famous resturant ...

All the time , i thought that sunday is the holiday :-(....

What do you recommend in this day ( attraction + restaurants) ?

the acropolis museum is closed but the acropolis is not(at least what i've seen people tell here) so take the opportunity to experience its magic.then walk around the area of plaka and monastiraki to get a feel of athens.search these areas here on trip advisor to get an idea

Panepistimio,Syntagma and Acropolis metro stations are little museums themselves.Also Monastiraki (Line 1 ) metro station at the direction of Kifissia incorporates the remnants of ancient system of water transfer.Many other metro stations incorporate modern artAlso in front of national garden are the remains of a roman villa while at Kotzia square near Omonia metro station are the remains of ancient fortifications.
