Exact location of Bus Terminal at Piraeus to Athens Airport

Hi all experts

Does anyone know exactly where the busses leave from the Port to the Athens International Airport. I know where they used to leave from just opposite a restaurant and ticket shops but not sure if they leave from there now???

Any clear directions or map.

Thanks

At night (after 10pm or around that) - the X96 bus leaves from Platia Karaiskaki, during the day it starts from around Gate 1-2 at the very far end of the port and runs along Akti Kondili, Akti Posidonos etc - all stops are pretty clearly marked on Google maps (when you click on them they show buses &tram numbers).

Thanks Ozzlem and AjarmAndy

Do you know if this is always were they left from during the daytime hours...Its just almost opposite a restaurant with small shrubs all around it and beside 2 ferry ticket stores????

Just trying to get my bearings. Come in big gates from street where metro station is and you walk a good bit around to the left following the road and you come to it.?????

Thanks will have a look at the map and websites you have supplied.

Oh by the way do you know if we can buy the tickets a week in advance or so???? this might be a tall order :)

Thanks yeah clicked on google maps. Although not sure exactly where gates 1 and 2 are but I think its where it always went from. We used to sit for a good few hours in that restaurant and wait for boats many years ago when we didn't get accommodation in Athens, now we stay in Athens and get our ferries by taking an early metro from Athens to Piraeus. The metro has made such a great difference. Thanks guys

No, not the 'old' location a bit inland to Pl. Karaiskaki Sq and the main portside road. ~50m/yds or so.

The terminus is now actually around by Gate E1 where some ferries depart.

I do not think it was Gate 1 or 2 - I have not noticed any restaurants there. It must have been one around Platia Karaiskaki - on the picture (you can zoom in) - those tall ones in the middle. You can see a small fleet of buses there but note that unless something has changed this is from where the X96 buses depart only at night. During day hours they run on the main street with two stops around that location - one by the footbridge to the metro and the other one visible on the photo next to the little kiosk or something with the red roof.
