Which route from Corinth to Delphi

We will be driving from Athens airport to Loutraki. We will spend a few days getting our feet under us and seeing Corinth. When we leave Corinth we will be headed to Delphi. What is the best route to take? Is it better to travel on the A8 to Patra or backtrack toward Athens and North on the E962 or, the small coastline road north of Loutraki? We won't be in a huge hurry, although we do want to arrive in a somewhat timely manner. We prefer the safer route if this comes in to play.

The quickest route is definitely to backtrack and take the E962. Personally I would go round the gulf of Corinth via Patras, even though its a bit further, as the roads are quieter. You also get to see and go over the amazing Rio-Antirrio bridge.

Thanks for the reply JBMED!

Any idea what the time difference would be?

Also, do you know what the tolls are for the motorway and bridge?

It will probably be an extra hour or so going via the bridge
