euro travellers cheques

last year when in Rethymnon we managed to exchange euro travellers cheques at a western money exchange location and wonder if they are still acceptable for exchange . if not what is the most advisable way of taking money to Rethymnon from Scotland.

Take Euros - …moneysavingexpert.com/holiday-money/…results

Take a preloaded debit card - moneysavingexpert.com/travel/…prepaid

Take your normal debit card and Use an ATM but find out how much your bank charges first. The Greek ATM bank normally makes no charge.

Travellers cheques are now more or less history

Hi there

Why not take euros cash?!? As long as your accommodation has a safe then it's fine to take cash...we have been doing this since 2003 in Crete..5 trips a year, and also to other Greek islands and spain and Rome, Florence and Venice too .... It saves so much hassle
