can anyone please interpret?

I am going through my photos from Folegandros and would love to have more information about these two photos. We took these just outside of Ano Meria walking toward Chora. Thanks for any information.

It is a bit pessimistic but cynically true also, so, here we go:

Upper row:

"When man old grows, no salvation exists along with the bill of exchange of expiring deadline".

Lower row:

"All are futile, all are vanity and mankind is a green grass. Love each other".

This is almost the exact translation.

I'm a professional translator and I would translate this:

"All things are in vain; all things are vanity. Mankind is but a blade of grass. Love one another."

Incidentally in Greek it rhymes and is in meter.

sorry my eyesight is too bad to read the rest of it ;) I used to live on Folegandros and that house has been like that for years.
