Hotel Grotta or Adriani in Naxos for one night between ferri

We are 3 adults looking for a hotel close to the ferry for one night. Prefer a place with some character, and comfortable sleeping arrangement for 3 adults (1 room/ Triple or 1 bedroom).

I have checked out Booking.com photos & availability and am leaning towards Hotel Grotta, but any input for decision making would be much appreciated!

Thank you

The closest hotel to the ferries are Hotel Xenia. It is located a few meters behind the main street, 5 minutes walk to the ferries on a level street, a high level of comfort and nice hosts. www.hotel-xenia.gr

Hotel Grotta is in an area which can be unconvenient in the evening\at night. You can get an idea of the Grotta area here (the hotel has excellent reviews, though - it is the yellow building you see in the album):

I agree with Periscope's suggestion.

Also have a look at Hotel Anixis at the top of the old town, lovely location and still only about 7 or 8 mins walk to the port. But the owner will probably take you down in his van anyway.
