How to get to Santorini on budget

Hello there travellers

Travelling to Europe in Aug Sep. I am starting in London, then Paris - Toulouse for A380 Tour. From Toulouse, I need to get to Santorini and eventually Rome from Santorini.

I am struggling to get good flight connections from toulouse. If you are local from France or Greece, Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I can go to Lyon or Marselle or Nice if need be to travel to Santorini. Planning to spend 3 days there.

I would really use your help here.

You can go from Toulouse to Milan Malpensa and then to Santorini with Easyjet but that may not be cheap, especially the Milan-Santorini leg. Easyjet also has direct flights from Santorini to Rome but they may not be available in September (it is a high-season route). Mind you, going with regular airlines (via Athens and/or other major European airports) will not be cheap either as Santorini is a very popular destination and August is peak season. Personally I would say it is not worth going all the way to Greece if you only have 3 days. You will spend most of the time in transit.

I agree with Ozlem. Toulouse - Santorini is a difficult routing and there doesn't appear to be any real "budget" options.

There are direct flights from Toulouse to Rome and from there you can fly direct to Santorini, however on the dates I checked the connections for the cheaper flights didn't work ie first flight arrived too late to take ongoing flight meaning you would either have to overnight in Rome or consider other airlines that may not fly direct.

Toulouse to Rome - check Air France and Alitalia (seems they have very cheap flights at present)

Rome to Santorini - Blu Express, Aegean, Olympic, Easy Jet.

If you schedule permits perhaps consider going to Santorini after Rome as it would probably be a whole lot easier and probably cheaper.
