Our friends stayed there last summer, and they said it was fantastic. They are a family of 4, and booked the room over the phone a few days prior to their arrival in Santorini. The kids slept in beds in a loft above the room; they said the views were fantastic and rooms really clean & nice (one of their favorites.) They travelled using the LP book as well.

Thought I'd seen it on my travels - and even took a photo of the 'rooms to let' sign in case I wanted another option in Fira.

OK - Get to outside the Atlantis Hotel, near the wall overlooking the caldera and face the water. To your left is a flight of fairly shallow stairs - its pretty much underneath the caldera-facing balconies of the Atlantis, with all the arches. Walk down these stairs. About half-way down, Hotel Thireas should be on your right with Sophie's Rooms just a couple of doors later on the left. From memory, Maria's Rooms its at the end of this little lane about where it meets the connecting lane that runs left-right. There's a blue gate and I think you may have to go up the stairs behind the gate to enter the premises.
