I purchased the "go light" option for a flight from Santorini to Athens on Aegean Air, departing Santorini at 10:30am, now I just went online and it says they changed the flight to 7:10am..... that's quite the difference, over 3 hours earlier.... Since I went "go light" the site says I have to pay $30 EUR to change our tickets back to the 10:30am flight (which is now operated by Olympic Air).
Has anyone experienced this, and if so, were you able to change your tickets without paying the $30 EUR/ticket charge, using the argument that the departure time change is significant being over 3 hours (not like it's 15 minutes earlier)? or must I now bite the bullet and pay the $30 EUR/tickets to change our tickets back to the flight time we originially booked. Grrr.
