restaurants on the Islands

I am sailing the Islands for two weeks in September. Can anyone give some reccomendations of restaurants to dine at? The Islands that i will be visiting are: Symi, Rhodes, Patmos, Nissyros, Astypalaia, Kos.

Thanks for your help

If you are sailing, you may well want the restaurants on Symi to be in the harbour. I suggest:

Trata, Mythos (serious cooking) , Merakles, Haritomeni, Dimitri, Katerinettes.

If you have time to venture up to the Chorio then add Giorgio's, Filos, Syllogos, Zoë's.

I hope this message is not too late. Have fun. I've sailed that trip myself and that is how I found Symi. Been back many times now.

I vote for Veggera in Patmos, as well as the small taverna at Lambi coast: Great traditional fish food and fresh vegetables from their own small farm.
