Few days en route to Turkey

Hi, would be obliged to hear recommendations for a nice place to stay for our family, kids 9 and 7, for a few days as we make our way to Bodrum.

Looking for somewhere convenient to Kos Town for the ferry (arriving from Santorini) but hopefully near a decent beach.Would go further afield for a really good place if that's what you suggest. We'll be just looking to relax and maybe take a boat trip some place depending on what takes our fancy.

Many thanks.

Yeah eddie thanks, was reading up on Tingaki among other places.A lot of folks seem to say Tingaki's beach is very windy on here.Is it really that bad?

How far is Tingaki from Kos port and how much would a taxi cost do you know?

Hi,

Kos town itself is convenient. The beach running just north of the harbour is reasonable and shelter from the NNW Meltemi wind.

There are some small hotels and rooms for rent places, most of the ones I have stayed in are un-named and don't do bookings.

Tigaki has a much better beach but it is indeed windy, facing NNW how can it be anything else. Any weather statistics website will give you the details.

There are regular buses from Kos town or a taxi would be about ~15-20 € or something.
