kos airport/town

Fly into Kos airport at 2140 next Thursday and intend to catch ferry to Nissiros at 0240 next morning. What are my options for getting from the airport to Kos town and will there be any agents open to buy tickets for ferry at that time of day. Thanks in advance.

Nice one, what a good connection, in the Amstel/Mythos breakfast style.

You'll have to take a taxi to Kos town to buy ferry tickets, guess about 35 €. There should be a ticket agency open at that hour selling Bluestar tickets, with luck you may get a good taxi driver that knows and plonks you right outside.

Sometimes there is a ticket place close to the ferry quay that opens up about an hour before departures, not sure about Kos town as it's been a few years.

Bluestar gives this as a main agency closing at 22:00, however other agencies do BS tickets as well.

u have ample time to catch the taxi to go to ferry

but it might be very busy at the time you arrive, i was there when the flight from glasgow arrived at the same time you have manchester, gatwick and amsterdam flights arrived so there was a big que for the taxis but there s this lady from the taxi company who was trying frantically to arrange for taxis for the people waiting

maybe you can pre book ?check their prices on the taxi company s site maybe its worth it to pre book a taxi
