Leros in mid September...Pre book accom?????

Hi - hopefully someone here can help. We are travelling to Leros in mid September, we haven't booked any accomodation as we don't really want to commit to anything. We want to take things as they come ie stay in one place for a couple of nights and move to another village/island if we want. If we like it hang around for a bit longer. Is the island quiet enough for us to do this? anyone been there able to assist.

Cheers

Hi

We were on Leros last year from mid/late Sep to the beginning of Oct and it was extremely quiet, you'd have had no problem getting a room.

This year we are there from 2 Sep for 2 weeks and, looking on hotel sites, it appears that all the hotels still have rooms available at this time. I'm pretty sure you'll have no problem finding somewhere to stay. Most accom is around Alinda or Pandelli and the island is that small you can explore it from your base, no need to move on to new accom

If you've never been before I'm sure you'll love it

Cheers

Ian

Thanks for the info. Sounds like a great island to visit......nice and quiet and not too busy. We were going to head towards Alinda to stay, there appears to be plenty of appartments/hotels around to choose from. I think we will have a wander round the bay and see what's on offer.

Thanks again.
